Life began in Canandaigua NY, part of the beautiful Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. My mother was from Stockholm, Sweden and my father was from Rochester, NY of German heritage. All of my school years were spent in Canandaigua, NY including 2 years at Community College of the Finger Lakes. My coatings career began with Sherwin Williams in 1983, right out of college, and lasted until 2010. After leaving SW I formed an Independent Rep agency, The FSW Group, LLC, with a friend who had been in coatings his whole career as well. I have enjoyed representing small family owned companies.

My family unit is small being just myself and my dog, Briar. When I am not working I enjoy classic cars, high performance boats, home renovations and travel by land, air or sea. Favorite destinations are Mexico, New England or the Grand Canyon. In the next few years I plan on traveling throughout the US by motorhome and discovering the amazing National Parks.
